Our engineers have focused on recording your sound but understanding the best environment is something that we have developed from over 30 years of experience. You can't buy this or even learn it from a book. it comes from experience.
LIVE DRUMS
Any engineer will tell you acoustic drums are one of the most challenging instruments to capture for a great-sounding mix.
It all starts, mind you, with a great set of shells. Our tour-grade Yamaha kit delivers a lovely resonant strike, but pair this with our chief engineer, who is himself a touring session drummer we know that we will strive to achieve the best sound at source.

PLANNING
We will plan the session from the moment you enter our studio and usually over our first brew.
Understanding your requirement is crucial. Jumping straight in with a method that makes life simple for the session is never on our minds. Being ahead of a day's recording sounds like the perfect day and will probably lead to us all being home in time for East Enders.
